Q: WHY SHOULD I HELP TRAVEL THE ROAD?

A: If Travel the Road has impacted your life, we need your help to impact others. With your support, we can reach more remote peoples, and create more Gospel content to encourage others to do the same. Donate Now  and become part of the Team.

Q: DOES ANYONE TRAVEL WITH TIM AND WILL?

A: No. Tim and Will travel with no camera crew or support team. It is just the two of them with a backpack each.

Q: WHO SUPPORTS TRAVEL THE ROAD AND CREATES THE TELEVISION SERIES?

A: You do. Travel the Road, in every capacity, is only made possible through the donations and support we receive from partners like you.

Q: WHEN TIM AND WILL PREACH THE GOSPEL TO A REMOTE TRIBE WHO DOES THE FOLLOW UP?

A:  Tim and Will work in coordination with many different ministries overseas and Travel the Road supports the continued efforts of discipleship in areas reached. For example, one such area featured in Season Three was the homelands of the Kachepo tribe in South Sudan. The man accompanying Tim and Will is Godfrey from Kenya. He, and IAS, now spearhead the work to follow up and disciple the Kachepo tribe. Here is the latest update from Godfrey:

"We had a wonderful meeting with IAS 2 weeks ago. We are planning to go for another follow up trip to Kachepo on January this year. We will be a group of 6 people and 4 of us will stay there for 4 months, from January to April, with a sole mission of establishing the possibility of setting up a school as well as church planting. On this mission we shall mobilize community to support the ideas, get property for school and church and open an airstrip . I will keep you updated on this. May the Lord richly bless you."

So the work in every area continues long after the documentation is done. In fact, Tim and Will travel back to many areas they have ministered in to see how the efforts are going.

Q: WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DO THEY FILM WITH?

A: Tim and Will bring one camera with them. Season One: Sony PD-100. Season Two and Three: Sony PD 150. Season Four (Haiti and South America) Canon 5D Mark II. Everything post 2013 Canon 5d Mark III and Mark IV.

Q: HOW LONG ARE THE JOURNEYS WE SEE ON TV?

Q: DO TIM AND WILL LEAD MISSIONS TRIPS?

A: No. But Travel the Road works in coordination with other ministries that do. Check them out at our Partners page.

Q: WHY DO TIM AND WILL TRAVEL TO DANGEROUS AREAS AND REMOTE PEOPLES? ISN’T THERE PLENTY OF MINISTRY TO DO RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA?

A: The specific calling of Travel the Road is to preach the gospel to the *unreached (*unreached means-never heard the gospel before), or to those who are currently cutoff from active mission work. This doesn't mean it isn't important to minister right here in America, but the calling of Travel the Road is to preach where the gospel has never gone before. Ministry is important wherever it is done. One people aren't more important than another; all are equal in the sight of God. Travel the Road is a ministry that focuses on the calling of unreached, but the series also serves as an encouragement for everyone to be a missionary, even if it is in your own backyard.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TIM AND WILL TO DO WHAT THEY DO?

A: Overseas the cost of living is very low, especially for how Tim and Will live. On their first journey they spent only $7,000 for one-year and traveled through 25 countries. So, doing what they do is possible on a shoestring budget. The more expensive costs of Travel the Road are producing and creating new episodes. Producing high quality shows that are dynamic and encouraging is challenging, and if we want to have a voice of influence that reaches the world, the church must take an active part in supporting Christian media.

Q: WHERE ARE TIM AND WILL NOW?

A: Follow them on the Blog page and on our Facebook page and get the latest updates and most recent testimonies.

Q: DO TIM AND WILL SPEAK AT CHURCHES?

A: Yes, but it's rare, as they are only in the USA short periods of time. For more info on how to bring Tim and Will to your church or event contact us at: info@traveltheroad.com.
