Russ Stoddard is a 29 year-old from Long Beach, CA. When he joins Tim and Will with a missionary team in Laos, he discovers the dangers involved. While hiking through the jungle, he comes extremely close to falling off a cliff. That would be enough to shake up anybody, yet he pressed on. Since 1996, when he received Christ into his life, he's had a heart for the people of the world that don't have the opportunity to hear about the Lord. This was his first real missions experience. He'd seen the tapes of Tim and Will on their trip, but nothing could prepare him for the actual sights and smells of the journey. While it didn't change his outlook on missions, it certainly changed his perspective. There he saw the importance of prayer-without it, they wouldn't have made it.
