Paul Backholer is a 25 year-old from Wales, UK. He joins Tim and Will in Laos, initially as part of a missionary team. There he gets violently ill in the middle of the jungle, miles away from any help. Through prayer and courage, he makes the trek to the village in spite of his health. After the rest of the team leaves, he remains with the two missionaries to do further ministry. When he finally returned to his native England, he learned that he had malaria! Overall, the journey was a life-changing experience for Paul. He is now working with ByFaith Media, and is a missionary/adventurer traveling through North Africa and Europe.
