Timothy Scott

From a very young age everyone around Tim recognized he had an ambitious spirit. Being raised in a Christian home and tutored by his father, who is president of the Vision Christian Bible College, Tim has been instilled with a solid and foundational teaching of the Word of God. He first went on missions with both of his parents and older brother Michael during high school, but never thought of it as his calling.

At the age of 16 Tim was already excelling in the business market, and after high school he went through two years of business college and an internship program at Paine Webber. His life in the business world was on its way, but at the age of 19 God called him to a different life. The call of the mission field came to Tim when he was traveling abroad in Eastern Europe, and at a critical moment on his journey he made the decision to give up his life in business and sell all his possessions. Returning to the States he began to formulate his plan of ministry through prayer. His calling became crystal clear and he surrendered his life to the destiny of the Lord. Tim boldly set off for the remote and unknown regions of the earth, venturing to the farthest and most distant lands to bring the gospel to those who have never heard the name of Jesus. The start of a new life had been born.
Beginning in 1998 Tim asked his good friend Will Decker to accompany him on the journey, they traveled through 20 countries over the course of a year. The journey opened his eyes to the millions of lost souls longing to be reached. Tim and Will then went on their second missionary adventure from 2000 to 2002 where the concept of Travel the Road was birthed.

Tim has journeyed to 34 countries fearlessly preaching the word of God in villages, huts, and forbidden lands. His willing heart, and loving personality shines through every episode of the television series, and even in the face of danger Tim has proven that he is a man of faith by boldly proclaiming the gospel.

For the past year Tim has edited and produced the Travel the Road television series and has been preparing himself for his next adventure. He is absorbed in the mission of Travel the Road and visualizes the fact that millions are going to be touch by this original television series. He wants the fire and calling of God to penetrate through all believers that they too might join in on spreading the message of Christ.

Tim desires to see the word of God go out to all the nations and a new generation of missionaries raised up to go out onto the fields. He realizes the passionate call on his life and wants nothing less than to please the Lord.
