Update on the Sudanese "Returnees"

The letter below was sent to us by a dear friend we met when we first visited the returnees camp near Maridi, in a place called Ibba. The camp was horrible when we visited and we are happy to hear help is being brought.

Hello Will and Tim.
Good to hear from you. I have just arrived Denmark after 3 weeks in Sudan.
This time I had the possibility to go to Ibba and see 5 different
returnee's camps. Your visit has really made the different. They have
gotten food and even borehols with good water now. But they still looked
misarable. I talked to everybody and I have donated a lot of money from
the Danish Pentecostales. Momo Daniel and I agreed that he should by them
some tools to dig latrins and mosquito nets and blankets. These were the
main needs as they told us. UN has given and is still giving food, so
thanks to God and to you. I went to the same camp as you did as well, and
they were all OK, I mean after the circumstanses.
I was together with James Wio, if you can remember him, the saved
witchdoctor. I can tell you that he is doing absolutely well, and he had
prayed for a girl that was dead and she rose again from the death. I went
with him to the family and interviewed them all. He also prayed with a
blind old lady who had her sight again. This is in Maridi. Isn't it
wonderful? James was so humble and really wants to pray for a lot of need
and reviel the power of God.
I am going to Bar el Gahsal in April. Leif wanted me to see the work even
there, and I am going to have seminars at the Bibleschool and travel
around in the aerea.
Per's trip went well too. He was in Garissa first and then went to
Haragesa. That was a revelation for him. He said it was as if you went
directly into a wall of darkness. The atmosphere was very depressing and
heavy. He had a guard with him all the time, but made a good reportage of
it all.
Well, we'll stay in contact, and God bless you so much.
Love Solfrid
